Service Pack 2 for Expression Web 3 is now available for download.
The biggest improvement introduced in this update is SuperPreview support for FireFox 3.6. Of course, you must have Firefox 3.6 installed for this to work, so download it if you want ensure your website views properly in that browser. A related bug was fixed with this: SuperPreview would sometimes crash while attempting to locate Firefox.
Mentioning crashing, did you know that you could crash Expression Web 3 by using the list-style-image property in a CSS file? I’m amazed that took as long as a service pack to get fixed as it seems everyone has some type of stylized list bullets.
This service pack corrects issues with PHP and PDF files as well. With PHP files, if you affirmed a dialog to update the hyperlinks the page, it’s possible that some PHP tags would be removed in the process. If you renamed a PDF file from the Folder List, the file became corrupted.
There were other general improvements, but this service pack seems pretty smalls compare to the first. Since the beta is out for Blend 4, maybe the team is holding back all the good stuff for Expression Web 4 beta?
